Tina Turner, est décédée mercredi à l'âge de 83 ans. La "reine du rock 'n' roll", dont la carrière s'est étendue sur des décennies, a brillé sur scène et dans des millions de cœurs. Fans, musiciens, acteurs et politiciens ont rendu de vibrants hommages à l’une des plus grandes artistes musicales des dernières décennies.
L'actrice Angela Bassett, qui a joué Turner dans le film biographique de 1993 "What's Love Got To Do With It", a écrit sur Instagram : "Tina Turner a montré aux autres qui vivaient dans la peur à quoi devrait ressembler un bel avenir rempli d'amour, de compassion et de liberté . Ses derniers mots pour moi - pour moi - étaient "Tu ne m'as jamais imité. Au lieu de cela, tu as pénétré profondément dans ton âme, trouvé ta Tina intérieure et l'as montrée au monde."

Le chanteur des Rolling Stones et Tina Turner ont formé un duo mythique notamment à l’occasion du concert Live Aid, en 1985, au profit de la lutte contre la faim dans le monde.
